Here are the steps you need to follow:
1. Prepare Your Study Plan (your initial exchange study plan):
- Ensure you have a clean, electronic copy of your Exchange Study Plan, that is capable of accepting digital signatures.
- List all the classes you plan to take at your Host University and the Swinburne classes you intend to match them with. For Short-term Exchange, this would likely be unmatched electives.
2. Download Your Course Planner:
- Ensure you have a copy of your course planner for reference.
3. Gather Class Descriptions (for Core Unit Approval only):
- Collect direct web links or copy and paste descriptions of the classes you want to study at the host university, using the unit descriptions template.
- This will help your Course Director review and determine if these classes are equivalent to your Swinburne core units.
4. Submit Your Documents for Review:
- In an email, attach your updated Study Plan, course planner, class descriptions, and a copy of your Swinburne Abroad offer letter.
- If your Study Plan includes ANY core units: Send these documents to your Course Director via email. Find your Course Director here.
- If your Study Plan includes ALL electives: Send these documents to the Enrolment Specialist (ES) Team via email. Find the ES instructions here.
5. Final Submission of your study plan:
Once your Study Plan is academically approved and signed, submit the final copy to Swinburne Abroad.- Email your signed study plan to exchange@swin.edu.au and complete the form below.
